This agreement expands used by Sun Direct MEASAT satellite capacity for up to four transponders, making the MEASAT-3 (91.5 E), the main satellite for DTH services of this platform. - We are very pleased that Sun Direct can offer extra capacity - said Paul Brown-Kenyon, chief operating officer of MEASAT. - Supporting the five DTH platforms in the three markets on the two satellites, 91.5 E is one of the strongest DTH orbital positions in Asia.Sun Direct is one of the largest DTH operator in India with the customer base 5.13 million , which contributes to a 21% share in the domestic market.
