*Syfy and 13th Street offer catch up at Kabel Deutschland Jörn Krieger | 25-03-2011 German Pay-TV channels Syfy Universal and 13th Street Universal have commenced offering the customers of cable operator Kabel Deutschland the possibility to watch selected programmes up to 7 days after their TV broadcast in full length at no additional charge. The content forms part of the "catch up" service of the video-on-demand (VOD) portal Select Video which the cable company launched a few days ago. Both channels have set up virtual shops within the VOD service which can be accessed through the remote control of the HD DVR. The "catch up" programmes are available to all subscribers of pay-TV package "Kabel Digital Home" which Syfy Universal and 13th Street are part of. The line-up includes films, series, TV shows and short movies of the genres thrill & crime, adventure, mystery, fantasy and science-fiction. *
