Published: 09.07 Europe/London, June 2, 2011 Ivan Sevcik has been appointed country manager for HBO Czech Republic and Slovakia.Sevcik, who joined HBO Central Europe yesterday (June 1), will be responsible for business operations in the region, including general management, sales and marketing.He was most recently chairman of the board at Axel Springer Praha a.s. in Prague.Ondrej Zach, currently VP, programming and acquisitions for HBO Central Europe and executive director of HBO Czech Republic, has meanwhile been promoted to senior VP programming and acquisitions for HBO Central Europe, responsible for acquiring and scheduling programming schedules in the 14 countries where HBO operates.He will also retain the position of executive director, HBO Czech Republic.
