*abertis telecom launches DTT on the internet* _ Iñaki Ferreras ©RapidTVNews | 29-10-2011 _ Spain's main telco and TV signal distributor abertis telecom has introduced DTT through the internet at the Broadcast IT show currently taking place in Madrid. The operator is showing how the DTT signal can work on the connected TV concept according to the European standard HbbTV. It is also showing a content distribution platform on the internet which optimises the multi-device navigation and adds new capabilities for the content protection environment as well as advertising inclusion and CDN. The TDT.Com concept allows the domestic reception of the DTT signal on a connected TV or through an STB of internet programming.
