*Polsat set to grow* _06.44 Europe/London, November 16, 2011 By Chris Dziadul_ The leading Polish commercial broadcaster may add another thematic channel to its growing portfolio by the end of this year. The news was given by Dominik Libicki, the president of Cyfrowy Polsat, speaking to the local press and quoted by Wirtualne Media. However, he did not provide any further details. The Polsat group currently operates 11 thematic channels, one of which (Polsat Sport HD), is in HD, and is known to be planning to add to it next year. Polsat is itself now part of Cyfrowy Polsat, which operates a DTH platform of the same name. Earlier this week the latter was reported to have ended the third quarter with 3,506,077 subscribers.
