TuVes explores further LatAm expansion in Colombia Iņaki Ferreras | 31-10-2012 Leading LatAm satellite operator TuVes, who provides HD satellite TV in five countries in Latin America, is looking for a business partner in Colombia to expand its presence. TuVes HD is looking to offer cable operators in particular the chance to access new markets through a differentiated service based on HD PVR set top boxes (STBs). "The proposal is to transport a set of satellite signals with SD and HDTV content, made available to cable operators, telecommunications or [others] who want to enter the satellite television market, so [they] can build [their] own satellite pay-TV service with their own brand, programming schedule and marketing strategy, "explained Jose Esteban Saez, director of Latin American Business.
