Parent Category | 27-08-2013Total Sports Asia (TSA) and Mediapro have signed an agreement to bring the FC Barcelona channel Barça TV to Asia to meet the increasing demand for Barça's football content in the region.The bases of the deal were set during the team's tour at the beginning of August, according to Diario Gol.This is the first time that Mediapro has sold the entire rights of the channel to be broadcast abroad. While the deal means the team increases its presence in one of the biggest markets worldwide, the Malaysian company gets exclusive rights to distribute Barça TV through various operators.Since the channel was launched in 1999, this is the first time it will be watched abroad at the same time as in Spain.
