Tiempo Entre Costuras premiere hits the mark in Spain * Juan Fernandez Gonzalez | 23-10-2013 * Boomerang TV's production El Tiempo Entre Costuras was a big hit during its premiere on Spain's Antena 3, achieving more than five million viewers and a 25% share to become the channel's most watched premiere in over 12 years. The series, based on the María Dueñas' bestseller with the same title, was the most watched show of the day and beat successful formats including Telecinco's La Voz (20.2% share) and TVE's Isabel (14.8%) during Monday's prime time slot. The last minutes of the first episode got nearly six million viewers and a 31.6% share. The show became a trending topic worldwide and was among the most commented upon shows of the day, according to Tuitele. Boomerang's latest production was presented at FesTVal in September and aims to be broadcast internationally. The show also achieved success at its international presentation during MIPCOM in Cannes. The series tells the story of a seamstress who leaves Madrid before the Spanish Civil War and moves to Tangiers. There, she finds herself alone and has to learn to survive during complicated political and social times.
