Kabel Deutschland to add commercial HD channels Jörn Krieger | 26-03-2014 Germany's largest cable operator Kabel Deutschland has unveiled the commercial TV channels it will add to its high definition (HD) line-up on 3 April 2014.The channels gaining carriage will be Disney Channel HD, NatGeo People HD, N24 HD and Sport1 US HD.Also joining the HD portfolio will be 11 channels from public broadcasters ARD and ZDF, thus, cable customers will be able to receive a total of 15 new HD channels from 3 April.Kabel Deutschland has set up a special website that will inform viewers about the new channels and further changes on its cable network from 2 April.
