Thuringia joins German local TV portal on AstraMay 5, 2014 14.25 Europe/London By Jörn Krieger Lokal-TV-Portal (bmt)The first local TV channels from Thuringia have launched on the HbbTV-based German local TV portal on Astra (19.2° East), enabling DTH satellite households to receive local television from the federal state.The OTT offering which is financially supported by local media authority Thüringer Landesmedienanstalt (TLM) currently contains Südthüringer Regionalfernsehen (SRF), Salve.TV and tv.altenburg. Further local TV channels will be added soon.
