Wuaki.tv bets on The Interview DetailsJuan Fernandez Gonzalez | 11 April 2015 After premiering on theatres and online video services in the US, Sony's controversial film The Interview is landing on streaming and video-on-demand (VOD) platforms across many countries, with Wuaki.tv the selected platform for Spain.The video streaming provider has included the controversial film about politics and North Korea in its catalogue for May along many other titles, including movies from the Oscars. The films launch led to threats from North Korea to the US, trying to stop the film's distributor Columbia Pictures to take the movie to the theatres. Due to it, The Interview was released more than two months later than initially scheduled.Wuaki.tv is to premiere the film for Spain's VOD audience on 27 May 2015, following the premiere of other titles such as the Oscars-awarded Birdman, Whiplash, The Theory of Everything or Nightcrawler.
