*Broadcasters will get together to offer ATSC MH in EE.UUBroadcasting for mobile and portable devices, a possibility included in the American digital TV ATSC pattern in 2009, would become true before year end. Over the course of NAB, held last week in Las Vegas, twelve American companies announced the creation of a mixed company aimed at distributing content in devices through the mobile version of ATSC standard.The idea of a "joint venture" is to share the surplus their frequencies so as to start a mobile TV offer and offer some free-to-air channels and some other subscription ones. The new company, which has not been named yet, will offer news, entertainment and live and on demand sport programming.Fox, NBC, Belo, Cox Media Group, E.W. Scripps, Gannett Broadcasting, Hearst Television, ION, Media General, Meredith Corp., Post-Newsweek Stations y Raycom Media are the companies that participate of this initiative. The group that might offer content to 150 million people expects to reach almost all important markets in the United States. *
