* TV Land Greenlights Original Sitcom By Kristin Brzoznowski Published: April 21, 2010 NEW YORK: The TV Land PRIME original sitcom Retired at 35, starring George Segal, has been greenlit for ten episodes. In the pilot episode, a successful young businessman decides to leave New York City behind to move into his parents Florida retirement home to reconnect with them and re-evaluate this life. There, he reunites with his best friend and re-discovers his former crush. The series pickup comes on the heels of the greenlight for TV Land's first original sitcom, Hot in Cleveland, which premieres on June 16. "It is so exciting for us to announce TV Land's second original sitcom," said Larry W. Jones, the president of TV Land.
