*Telekomunikacja Polska clocks 111k IPTV subs22.04.10Polish telco Telekomunikacja Polska saw its pay-TV customer base double year-on-year to reach 417,000 by the end of the first quarter of this year, with 111,000 of those subscribing to its IPTV service (up from 86,000 one year previously).Broadband revenues for the first three months of this year were up 0.3% year-on-year, with a slowdown in the development of the retail customer base (up 1% year-on-year) counterbalanced by its TV offer. The telco had a total of 6.216mn broadband customers by the end of March, up from 5.717mn one year previously.Total revenues across all operations for the first quarter of this year reached PLN 3.873bn (US$ 1.34bn), down 10.2% year-on-year, while net income fell 13.1% by the same comparison to reach PLN 285mn.*
