*Clarín Group recorded a 8,2% increase in its digital base Clarín Group, which operates in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay, recorded USD 423,63 million net sales in 1Q2010, that is, an 8,8% increase if compared with figures recorded over the same period last year. In such quarter, Pay-TV net and Internet access sales recorded an 11,7% increase. The Group, which manages the two main CATV operators (Cablevisión and Multicanal) in Argenitna, sold 413,600 set-top-boxes for Digital TV, that is, only an 8,2% increase if compared with the 382,600 decoders installed in January-March, 2009. In that country, the Group's operators reached 3,032 million homes, that is, just a 0,1% increase if compared with the 3,28 million homes recorded over the same period last year. Clarín's Uruguayan operator recorded 95,500 users over such quarter, a 5,4% increase as compared with the 90,600 users recorded over the same period last year. In Paraguay, 99,700 cable TV homes were recorded, that is, a 7,4% increase if compared with the 92,800 users recorded over the same quarter in 2009. *
