Comedy Central's first high definition channel has gone live on Sky, and will launch on Virgin Media later in the year.
The new channel is a simulcast of the standard definition Comedy Central, and features US imports including Two And A Half Men, 30 Rock and South Park as well as new shows from the UK.
Comedy Central's MD Jill Offman said of the launch that, "We've always been the funniest channel on TV, now we'll be the best looking one too."
Comedy Central HD is available now on Sky channel 222; it will also be available on Virgin Media channel 133 from September 1.
