Sky Germany to attack Telekom in Bundesliga tender * Jörn Krieger | 28-11-2011 * The CEO of German pay-TV operator Sky Deutschland, Brian Sullivan, wants to challenge Deutsche Telekom in the upcoming tender for the pay-TV rights for domestic football league Bundesliga. The subscription broadcaster wants to also fight for the IPTV and mobile transmission rights currently held by Telekom. "We are initially interested in all rights," Sullivan told German news magazine "Focus". "We want to be able to show more programming - also mobile on smartphones and tablet-PCs." The tender for the Bundesliga rights from 2013 will probably commence in January 2012. Sullivan also denied rumours that Sky would renounce from the Formula 1 transmissions. The question in the air would only be whether it's still an "intelligent investment". Asked whether he would again bid for the rights Sullivan said: "That's more than only possible."
