Customers can already watch SBS television and some ABC channels on a short delay, and a spokesman confirmed that the company is considering adding more channels. This happens while Optus is currently awaiting a Federal Court decision on its mobile TV service, TV Now. It has been accused of breaching copyright laws in relation to Australian Football League and National Rugby League matches, by enabling customers to stream the matches from Channel Seven. The sporting organisations are attempting to prevent Optus from selling TV Now. VHA spokesman Greg Spears told the Sydney Morning Herald: "We are always interested in offering our customers innovative services to help them make the most of their mobility devices, smartphone, tablets, mobile broadband, and mobile lifestyles, and will continue to explore rich media services that showcase our new Vodafone network."
