The BBC launches iPlayer consultationJanuary 8, 2019 11.21 Europe/London By Julian Clover The BBC wants to make the BBC iPlayer a destination in its own right with box sets, live programming and archive titles.A consultation has been launched into the proposals that include plans to offer shows on the iPlayer for at least 12 months after they are first shown, complete series box sets and more content from the BBC archive.Charlotte Moore, Director, BBC Content, said in the future the iPlayer will become the main delivery platform for BBC content in the way it already is for younger viewers.
