In a statement, it says that it was caused by extensive damage to a main fibre-optic cable in the shaft of the Pristavny most. It adds that the problem was resolved by 20.00 on Wednesday, October 2. UPC Slovakia is, along with UPC Poland, one of the only two remaining Liberty Global-owned operations in Central and Eastern Europe.
