TV2 set for bond issueDecember 2, 2019 12.21 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul The Hungarian national broadcaster TV2 Media Group is placed to issue bonds worth HUF30 billion (€89.3 million). According to Portfolio, this follows its participation in the corporate bond programme launched by the National Bank of Hungary this year and the company has already received a credit rating, with the bonds given a minimum requirement of B+ by Scope Ratings. TV2 is one of the two main commercial broadcasters in Hungary and had a 37% share of the spot advertising market in 2018, generating HUF20 billion. Scope expects TV2 to maintain a high degree of profitability in the years to come.
