Fanatiz gains $10MN funding for sports streaming service DetailsJoseph O'Halloran | 14 January 2020 In an indication of how it is poised for growth in 2020, sports streaming platform Fanatiz has announced that it has closed a Series A funding round investment deal with Miami-based private investment firm 777 Partners worth $10 million.Fanatiz claims to be the only platform of its kind that customises a whole online customer experience, allowing viewers to select their favourite team and receive ongoing updated and unique details from each of their favourite teams. Viewers can access Fanatiz online and from an iOS and Android smartphone app or by streaming from Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast and Apple TV.Since July 2019 the service has seen a 125% increase in paid subscribers and the company says that 2019 was a banner year for the platform including the launch of a reduced subscriber pricing model for new and existing users.
