The overwhelming number of pay-TV subscribers (91%) received their services as part of packages. In terms of distribution for both free and pay-TV, DTT accounted for 76.6%, cable and IPTV 21.5% and DTH 1.9%. Compared to previous years, DTT and especially DTH continued to decline while cable and IPTV grew.CNMC notes that this trend is related to an increase in pay-TV subscriptions, especially through fibre networks.
