Croatian telco tender closesMarch 20, 2020 09.42 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul Hrvatski Telekom (HT) has announced the closure of the tender for its shares in Optima Telekom.In a statement, it says that “abiding by the principles of transparency, objectivity and non-discrimination”, it will continue to keep informing the Croatian Competition Agency (AZTN) on all relevant steps in the international public tender. HT adds that it is not making details of the sales process public and does not plan to make any separate announcements on the process until it is finished. According to an agreement between HT and Zagrebacka banka (ZABA), HT has the right to co-sell the shares in Optima Telekom held by ZABA under certain conditions. HT currently holds a 17.41% stake in Optima Telekom, while ZABA holds 36.90% of the share capital. The tender was officially opened on January 31.
